I purchased the 500S BT to fit to my 2004 Mercedes-Benz SL in order to achieve quality streaming of music from my iPhone. I fitted this myself and made some minor silly mistakes despite being very capable at automotive technical work.
Skot from Cushie was absolutely fantastic in the support that he provided, often contacting Denison in Hungary to seek advice.
At the end of the day I have a fantastic Bluetooth music interface with the optional DAB.
This has brought my fantastic car into the current day.
I would strongly recommend this product to anyone wanting to improve their OEM sound system. It can also enable Bluetooth phone integration but I chose to keep the Mercedes-Benz system.
You can be sure that Skot will be there to help you (or your chosen integrator) throughout the process.

Similar experience to the review by Toshioz. I installed it into a Porsche 987 Boxster S with PCM2.1 – easy plug and play installation and works very well and very pleased that the PCM 2.1 controls the iPhone functions seamlessly. My only comment is that the instructions on synchronising with the PCM controls are very brief and frustrating until you figure it out, then it is fine. I would certainly recommend this unit.

Easy Install for Porsche 997 with PCM 2.1. Interfaces well with the current screen system and functions OK.
Uses the existing CD changer optical connection as the interface. Has a bypass mode to allow you to use the old CD changer if you wish. Aux Input 3.5mm jack, USB Audio, BT Audio and I pod/ phone via 32pin or Lightning available all easily selectable from the head unit, connectors easily accessible from the glove box. Phone works really well after tuning Mic and Audio volumes. Menu can be a bit clunky and slow. A small price to pay for OEM style integration.
