Toyota Hilux Grom Bluetooth BT3 kit

Another very easy instal!

Note the old Nokia kit I apparently fitted 19 years ago!
Just pop the twist dials off and undo this 1 screw
  • No special tools needed just pull gently
  • Disconnect the 2 plugs
4 10mm bolts to undo. It’s a good idea to magnetise your tools
  • Pull the unit out and find this 6 X 6 socket
  • Plug the new harness in
Connect the module, plug the mic in and it’s ready to test already!
  • Removing the old kit
  • Cut the wires one by one!
  • Tape them up
Prepare the surface with some metho to ensure the mic stays put and run lead
Found a nifty spot behind the glove box to cabletie the module
